Welcome to ISOM 26

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 26th International Symposium on Olefin Metathesis and Related Chemistry (ISOM-26) that will take place from Wednesday July 7 until Saturday July 10, 2027, in Osaka/ Namba.

Osaka's southern district, "Minami," is a lively center that provides all sorts of entertainment, including shopping, dining, drinking, nighttime neon lights, and iconic landmarks like the Dotonbori canal. This symposium is part of a long-standing series of meetings that brings scientists from academia and industry together every two years from all over the world to disseminate and discuss various aspects of olefin metathesis and related chemistry in a lively, relaxed, and stimulating environment. This will be the first time since 2013 that the ISOM has been held outside of European continent, and participants will have the opportunity to explore the unique culture of Japan as well as chemistry.
